Who it is for

Adult learners at A2 to B2 who want to speak, not only study grammar.

The problem

Speaking practice is the expensive part of learning a language. A human tutor costs money and scheduling; a chatbot does not speak, cannot be interrupted and does not hear pronunciation. Learners drop out between lessons because nothing holds the thread.

What we built

• A tutor persona that runs a real lesson: recall of last time, new material, practice on the whiteboard, a speaking task, error work and a wrap-up.
• A programme as data: twelve courses and 216 lessons across B1, B1+ and B2, each lesson with its own goal; A2 learners start with the first course.
• A free placement lesson first, four checkpoints in every course, and the student's recurring errors woven into the following lessons and exercises until they stop.
• Pronunciation scored on the lesson's target phrases: sounds phoneme by phoneme, fluency, completeness, stress and intonation; each course decides which of them a drill has to pass.
• A report after each lesson: the facts come from the lesson, a stronger offline model writes what moved and what comes back next time.

How it is delivered

• Operated by Studify as a direct-to-consumer product.
• The web app and the voice agent ship separately; the agent runs as a container on a dedicated server.
• Teaching quality is measured: the tutor's prompts run on frozen sets of lesson situations and are scored for corrections, teaching and reports, which shows what to fix to keep lessons smooth.
